Kisebb világok

A kiállítás a laikus közönség számára is érthető, sőt szórakoztató, amely ugyanakkor szakmai szempontból dolgozza fel a dioráma műfaját és művészettörténeti szerepét, emellett olyan, sokszor nem tudatos lélektani folyamatokra is felhívja a figyelmet, amelyek a diorámák révén előtérbe kerülnek. A fizikai alkotások mellett virtuális, digitális, valamint videódiorámák is láthatóak lesznek.

The world premiere of László Dubrovay's dance drama Faust, the Damned took place at Müpa Budapest in 2016, as part of the Budapest Spring Festival. This large-scale production inspired by Goethe's masterpiece debuted on the main stage of the National Theatre of Pécs in the 2023/24 season, and will run again in 2024 at Müpa Budapest's Festival Theatre.

A magical meeting of two anniversaries on the Müpa Budapest stage: the Talamba Percussion Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a 21st-century arrangement of a piano cycle by Mussorgsky's piano cycle Pictures of an Exhibition as it turns 150 itself: following on the heels of Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Isao Tomita with their versions, they are presenting their own take on the 19th-century masterpiece, this one revised for percussion and electronica, and featuring DJ Bootsie.
