The Swan is a masterpiece of comedy: witty, brilliant, bright and ironic
After Snow White and Romeo and Juliet, Angelin Preljocaj is returning to story ballet and his taste for stories.
A tánc-thrillerben felbukkanó alakok kettős kötődésűek: egyrészt leképezik az alapmű karaktereit, másrészt lakói vagy alkalmazottai a műintézménynek. A Herceg anyja – nálunk gyógyító apáca. Alexander – medikustárs, aki bár óvná barátját, fellépése hatástalan. Siegfried – a láncok és erőszak, a fizikai bántalmazás helyett a kedvességre és türelemre hangsúlyt fektető fiatal orvos, akibe Odette – épp e gesztusait félreértve – menthetetlenül beleszeret.
balett thriller, 16 éven felülieknek ajánljuk
Compared to Swan Lake, the well-known version of the classical ballet, I wished to rephrase the piece from another aspect, in a different light. In my interpretation, Siegfried is a young man with a split mind, who is being held captive by the traumas of his childhood as a result of his relationship with his mother.
Esterházy Péter formabontó és új formákat teremtő remekműve egy nehéz sorsú lány monológja az 1980-as évekből, klasszikus barokk nyelven elmesélve.
The basic idea of Swan Lake is “the triumph of good over evil, of light over darkness”.
